Secret & Old Spice Downtown Dash and Block Party at St. Xavier Church will be on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008. The Downtown Dash will be a 5k race starting at 7 p.m. near the corner of Sycamore and 7th Streets and continuing into Eden Park before returning to the church. The Block Party, starting at 6 p.m., will also feature the Christian Moerlein Cornhole Tournament on Sycamore Street. Registration for the Downtown Dash is $25/person or $100/five people, while registration for the cornhole tournament is $25/team. Visit downtowndash.org to sign up for either contest. The Block Party will feature live music from the Rum Runners, food from several favorite Cincinnati restaurants and Christian Moerlein beer.
